Drawing with Coach

Are you looking for a fun and creative way to spend your free time? Do you want to learn and be coached in new skills as you unleash your inner creativity and express yourself through art?

If you answered yes - then you should consider Drawing With Coach.

No matter what I'm doing, I'm really doing the same thing. Connecting to people. Seeing who they are. Meeting them where they are at. Dreaming with them about what is possible.

In this season of life, I'm doing this as a drawing coach. After decades in the classroom, with entrepreneurs, non-profit and faith-based organizations, I've returned to coaching in the realm of art. In our world where people are always doing too much and glorifying “busy,” one of my forever dreams has been to help others unplug. When we unplug, we are able to meet ourselves.

In this season, I'm excited to help young and old invest leisurely and reflective time as they challenge themselves to let go, open up, reconnect, and meet the creative person that they are.

Mission

“To inspire, motivate, and coach in the simple shapes of drawing.”

Vision

  • To recognize and unlock the inner desire to draw.

  • To provide basic artistic encouragement and thinking.

  • To provide endless hands-on practice exercises.

  • To promote self-awareness and confidence.

My Artistic Resume

I began my personal journey into Art much to the dismay of my elementary school teachers in Brooklyn, New York. With a passion for continual sketching and doodling, my school books and my notebooks were filled with amateur versions of the Seven Dwarfs, Super Heroes and the Sunday Comics. My passion for drawing became my first true hobby.

Entering high school and excelling in my Art Classes along with Industrial and Architectural Drawing I launched the pursuit of my coaching career. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University with an emphasis in sketching, illustration and design.

I began coaching at the Middle School level while inspiring hundreds each week in the basics of creativity, design and drawing. My eventual high school curriculum challenged students to a deeper understanding of Industrial Art, Perspective Drawing and Rendering.

And today? Inviting you to participate in an upcoming Drawing with Coach session.
